SAFER® Systems Welcomes New Owner, Industrial Scientific

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – 3 JULY 2019 – SAFER® Systems, the industry leader in REAL-TIME® chemical incident monitoring, modeling, and mitigation solutions, is pleased to announce that its owner, Platform Management Investments, L.P., represented by Ionel Nechiti and Steven Mines, has signed and closed a definitive agreement for SAFER Systems to be acquired by Industrial Scientific. 

Industrial Scientific is a global leader in connected sensing technology, providing gas detection products, services, and software to keep workers safe in hazardous environments. The acquisition is a major milestone for SAFER Systems, providing the company with additional reach and resources to support its mission of saving lives and protecting communities. SAFER Systems’ hazard analysis and REAL-TIME® plume modeling tools paired with Industrial Scientific’s strength in connected sensing and predictive analytics will allow the companies to deliver integrated solutions to customers across industries.
