Zillow to Buy Follow Up Boss For as Much as $500 Million

By Will Feuer

Zillow Group has agreed to buy Follow Up Boss, a customer relationship management system for realtors, for up to $500 million.

After the deal, Follow Up Boss will remain an independent brand and will continue to build its client base as a standalone product, regardless of whether a real-estate agent uses other Zillow platforms.

Zillow said it will pay $400 million in cash, plus up to $100 million in a potential cash earn out for Follow Up Boss, which has about 100 full-time employees.
